So...I found this pair of jeans at a resale shop. Cute, huh? They are just my style too...the "worn" look with fleur-di-lis on the back pockets. Sounds perfect, right? Wrong! They are my "old" size. So, I have them hanging up in my room, like a piece of art. And to me it is art because I am a work of art. So far, I'm on day 3 of walking/jogging on the treadmill. It feels fantastic!
What a great idea...to have them as a piece of art until you can wear them again.
ReplyDeleteOh, and I love shopping at thrift stores...we have a new one really close to my house and it's GREAT. I find so much stuff for David at such good prices.
Find your piece of art. So far it's worked for me. Yes! Thrift stores are the best...these jeans were $2! The only new clothes James has were gifts. But, I suppose it's easier when they are younger and not so rough on their clothes! I love having a son!!
